Solid Clean

Solid Clean is a multi purpose cleaner specially suitable for cleaning old painted and slightly oxidized steel surfaces. Solid Clean will remove adherent dirt and grease to prepare the surface to be coated.

Application
Solid Clean should be diluted to a 2 – 15% solution in water depending of the circumstances. The most effective way to use Solid Clean is to spray the solution with water of approximately 60 degrees Celsius. In case large surfaces have to be cleaned a recirculation system will minimize the use of Solid Clean. Depending on the rate of filthiness of the surface the Solid Clean should be removed before the surface is dry. In most cases 15 to 20 minutes is sufficient to let the solution do the job. Directly afterwards clean the surface with tap water.

Specific Gravity: 1.04 – 1.06 at 20 degrees Celsius
pH (1%solution): between 8.5 and 9.2
